AT&T #itsa212thing
"It's A 212 Thing" stands as an inspiring campaign initiated by AT&T, dedicated to honoring the cultural richness and inherent beauty of Harlem. Entrusted with the task of capturing authentic photographs of the vibrant individuals within the Harlem community, I embarked on a journey to document the essence of this historic neighborhood. At the heart of the campaign was the esteemed 212 Day event, graced by the presence of esteemed radio personality Angela Yee.
My objective was clear: to authentically portray the diverse tapestry of life in Harlem by capturing individuals in their natural environments. Armed with my camera, I ventured into the streets, parks, and local establishments, seeking to encapsulate the genuine spirit and character of the community. Each photograph became a testament to the resilience, diversity, and vibrancy that define Harlem's cultural identity.
Through candid moments and genuine interactions, I strived to capture the authentic essence of the people of Harlem, celebrating their stories, aspirations, and contributions to the community. From bustling street corners to intimate gatherings, every image served as a tribute to the unique individuals who call Harlem home.
